*Bandakka telata (Okra Tempered curry)
We use fresh cut slices of okra and cook them on fresh coconut milk with tomato, onion, garlic, curry leaves and few other condiments.
*Kekkiri Curry
Pieces of Cooking Melon, cooked on coconut milk with curry powder and many other spices.
*Parippu Hodi (Dhal Curry)
Soaked lentil, cooked on coconut milk with turmeric powder, cinnamon and few other spices.
*Kukulmas beduma (Fried chicken curry)
Deep fried boneless chicken cooked with curry powder and many other spices.
*Batu Salada (Eggplant Salad)
Deep fried eggplant slices mixed with lime juice, tomato and couple of other spices.
*Maalu Beduma
Deep fried fresh water lake fish mix with few condiments.
*Pol Sambola
Grated fresh coconut mix with fresh lime juice, chili powder and few other condiments.
*Mellum
Edible leaves from our organic farm, chopped them to very small pieces and slightly tempered them on few condiments.
During the lesson, we will teach you how to make your own fresh coconut milk at home too.

When you visit our organic farm for the cookery lesson, first we will take you around the farm and will explain about our organic farming that we do. Next you can pick some available vegetables and fruits before we move in to our farm kitchen. Traditional meal of the Sri Lankans is rice and curry. When you learn to cook couple of methods of cooking curries, you can apply that, for the available veggies at your home. Adventure team will teach you how to identify the good quality spices with examples and how the spices can be used to enhance the flavor of the food without making the food hot. End of the session, we make sure that you will be able to serve a nice traditional Sri Lankan dinner for your loved ones at your own home.
