We will enjoy it with a glass of wine
Once you arrive we could go to my local market, it is 1 block away and opened Monday to Saturday, there we will meet my vendors and we will learn about the fresh products and the seasons.
At home we will prepare a gazpacho and a paella from scratch, while enjoying a drink. Paella is a traditional rice dish you might find everywhere but have you had a good one? Let's learn all the tips and tricks about the recipe and its history!
You will be learning about paella and helping me with vegetables, taking pictures and coking in general and after the gazpacho & paella are finished you will enjoy it with a glass of wine!
The class lasts 3 hours, two for cooking and one for eating al fresco at the terrace.
We have a wonderful terrace where we can enjoy lunch al fresco!
I will send you the recipes by mail as we are environmentally friendly and try to use as little paper as possible
This is the kitchen where we will cook and we will enjoy a drink while cooking, you can take notes or take pictures of the whole process
These lovely cats will greet you when you arrive, they are mostly around the terrace jumping and trying to catch birds, I keep my apartment very clean but maybe not the best class if you are allergic to cats!
We live at the penthouse, a 4th floor with no elevator/lift, so come prepared to climb stairs and enjoy a wonderful view from the top.

Born and raised in Madrid I began my working life in hospitality abroad, back home I trained as a professional chef at Le Cordon Bleu . I've been working at Cooking Schools and organising cooking classes at my place, an off the beaten track area but easily reached by public transport . I love to teach travellers how to cook Spanish food and being also a Tour Guide I can share lots of tips for your stay in Madrid!
