Original and nikkei ceviche
Peruvian ceviche is a traditional dish widely eaten in Peru. The method of preparing it is different from ceviche in other places, using lemon, fish, potatoes, and other ingredients. In Peru, ceviche has been declared to be part of Peru's "national heritage" and has had a holiday declared in its honor. Besides, we are also going to prepare a Nikkei version, which is a fusion between the Peruvian recipe and Japanese cuisine.
This is a one-hour private cooking class experience using Zoom. You will learn how to prepare two delicious Peruvian ceviches, the original and a nikkei version, and I will guide you step by step in all the processes. The ceviche is one of our national dishes, and in this session, you will not only learn how to prepare it, but you will also learn all the techniques and secrets to make the best in town, no matter what country you are in!

Ingredients (1 pax)
- 200g white fish
- Salt and pepper
- 1/2 red onion
- Aji limo or some hot pepper
- 7 limes
- Coriander
- Ginger (optional)
- Celery (optional)
- 1/2 sweet potato (you must have it boiled /cooked for the class)
- 1/2 White corn (you must have it boiled / cooked for the class)
- 1 spoon of soy sauce
- 1/4 spoon of sesame oil
- Sesame (optional)
Utensils:
- 3 medium bowls
- 1 deep plate
- 2 small dishes
- 2 knives
- 2 chopping boards
- 1 lemon squeezer (optional)
