◎餃子:Gyoza
This is traditional local food in japan.
Gyoza is a Japanese dumpling made by wrapping meat, cabbage, leek, etc. in a skin made of thin flour.
First, We're going to make a skin.Second,to make inside.
◎巻き寿司:Maki-zushi (rolled sushi)
Maki-zushi is a type of sushi whose ingredients are rolled in a sheet of nori (dried seaweed) into the shape of a tube.
Inside are variety ingredients(low tuna,avocado,egg,cucumber,etc.)
Japanese like it so much!!
◎味噌汁:Miso soup
We have miso soup every day.
Ingredients include seaweed, green onion, and miso.
First, we're going to make dashi soup.
Second, cut ingredients and putting miso.
◎冷奴:Hiyayakko
Hiyayakko is chilled Tofu. This is as a side dish of Japanese food.
Usually eaten with green onion and dried bonito.and pour soy souse.
◎卵焼き:Tamagoyaki(japanese omelette)
Tamgoyaki is japanese rolled omelette is a classic dish for everyday meals and bento boxes.
There are two types of Japanese rolled omelette. One of them is with simple seasonings with the sweetness added. Other one is flavored with broth.
In our class we are going to make first one.
In this cooking class, we can cook Japanese gyoza (Japanese dumplings) ,Maki sushi(rolled sushi),Japanese omelettet, Miso soup, One popular side dish hiyayakko (cold tofu)together!
If you are veg, we will use vegetable and tofu instead meat in all dishes.
①Gyoza is one of the most popular Japanese dishes. It’s different from Chinese style dumplings, because they are pan-fried, instead of steamed.
We will start by first preparing the gyoza wrappers from dough.
Then, cut the vegetables and meat and wrap those ingredients with the gyoza wrappers.
Finally we fry them with a pan!
You can learn how to wrap ingredients with the wrappers and form the gyoza properly.
Gyoza wrappers are crispy while the vegetables and meat inside the Gyoza are juicy.
②We will also make a Maki sushi.
Maki sushi is sushi made by wrapping vinegared rice and ingredients with dried seaweed.
Generally, sushi rolls are made by wrapping vinegared rice and ingredients with dried seaweed using a small bamboo blind called makisu.
Not only fresh fish but also ingredients such as eggs and vegetables are often used for sushi rolls.
you can try and it wrapp using makisu.
③make a type of Japanese soul food, the rolled omelet,by using a rectangular frying pan.
Pour a thin layer of the egg mixture into the pan and move it around to cover the pan.
When the bottom of the egg is set but the top is still soft, start rolling it into a log shape from the front side of the pan to the back.
it's a little bit difficult but I can teach you how to make it.
it's fluffy and sweet !!
④Miso soup
We will prepare dashi soup by bonito
Put ingredients such as vegetables in the pan.
You can learn how to make miso soup.
