It is a very typical dish from the Ecuadorian Coast. My kids eat every morning for breakfast. It is crispy dish and serve with cheese and avocado is very delicious.
- Ecuadorian Ceviche
It is fresh and saucy. The ceviche is prepared with tomato, lemon, red onion and cooked seafood. It is served with chifles (banana chips) and pop corn.
The cooking class takes around one hour to one hour and a half.
In this cooking class, you will learn to make two Ecuadorian typical dishes: patacones and Shrimp ceviche.
We will start with the patacones and you learn how to peel the green banana easier, to fry and make the dip for the patacones.
Then the ceviche, how to make the tomato sauce and how to cook the shrimps which are the most important to get a good ceviche. You will add lime and onions to your liking.

Since 2000 I have been working in hospitality, tourism and gastronomy business. I started cooking classes in 2017 and in 2019 I organized Ecuador food tours. I like to show people from different countries how to make real Ecuadorian food and talk about Ecuador, places to visit and to do. I have been doing cooking classes for special events as birthday gifts, for couples, friends and families with kids.
