Raw coconut is scraped from the shell using a coconut scraper which is also a fun thing to do, this scraped coconut is then mixed with different quantities of water to separately extract coconut creamer and coconut milk from the scraped coconut.
I make a paste out of special Sri Lankan natural spices using the pestle and mortar which I use in the chicken curry to add a unique taste to it !!
This is a traditional gas-less cooking system in Sri Lanka where we use wood to light up a fire, food is cooked in clay pots on the fire which gives the food a sense of smoke which is mouth watering !

I have been conducting cooking lessons for 10 years, I like to cook traditional Sri Lankan dishes and teach others how to cook as well, I allocate most of my free time to cook dishes in my own way so that they have a unique taste, my home is in Kandy which is a famous tourist city in Sri Lanka, My cooking class is located infront of the Mahaweli river which is the longest river in Sri Lanka and the cooking experience is very calming therefore.
