Ceviche:
Ecuadorian ceviche is a vibrant and refreshing seafood dish that reflects the country’s rich coastal and culinary heritage. Unlike the Peruvian version, Ecuadorian ceviche is typically served with a more soupy consistency and is often made with cooked seafood. It is served with plantain chips (chifles), pop corn and is not accompanied with chili of any kind.
Llapingacho:
Llapingacho is one of Ecuador’s most beloved traditional dishes—comforting, hearty, and full of flavor. It originated in the central Andean highlands.

My name is Maria Viteri. I have been cooking for 23 years. I had a restaurant for one year where I used to cook Ecuadorian typical food. Since 2000 I have been working in hospitality, tourism and gastronomy business. I started cooking classes in 2017 and in 2019 I organized Ecuador food tours. I like to show people from different countries how to make real Ecuadorian food and talk about Ecuador, places to visit and to do. I have been doing cooking classes for special events as birthday gifts, for couples, friends and families with kids.
