Pizza
Pizza is one of Italy's world's best known gastronomic product, whose main ingredients include tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese.
The most famous and simple type of Pizza is Pizza Margherita, which was named after the Neapolitan Queen Margherita at the end of the XIX century.
According to the folktale, the cook Raffaello Esposito dedicated the Pizza in honor of the sovereign. From that time, this version of pizza took on the name 'Pizza Margherita'.
Gelato
Gelato is a sweet product made of milk, sugar and other aromas, with a solid consistency. Although the origins of Gelato are still unclear, we attribute them to the XVI century. Conventionally, we associate the invention of modern Gelato to Bernardo Buontalenti on the occasion of the wedding of Queen Maria De' Medici.
