Cooking Class Menu

・Nikuzyaga(boiled meat and potatoes) This is the Japanese traditional home cooking. Ingredients are beef(pork),potato,onion,soy sauce,sake sugar.
・Miso soup
We have miso soup every dinner. Ingreadients are tofu,seaweed,miso.

    Rice is a staple food in Japan. In all most every family, there is a rice cooker. There is variety of Japanese rice brands such as Koshihikari and Hitomebore.

  • Miso Soup

    Miso Soup

    Miso soup is a traditional Japanese soup. It's base is "dashi" (Japanese fish stock) and Miso paste. Common added ingredients are Tofu, Green onion and deep‐fried tofu but differs by personal preference. The type of miso is different from region. In western and Easter Japan white miso is mostly used.

  • Sake

    Sake

    Japanese popular alcoholic drink must be Sake, or called Nihonshu, made from fermented rice. The foundation of good sake is quality rice, clean water, koji mold and yeast. Premium sake differentiates itself in quality of ingredients and production process, so that flavors ranges light and crisp to richer, fruity notes.

Cooking Class Information

First wash rice and cook it with rice cooker. During cooking rice, we will make Nikuzyaga.
First cut potatoes and onions. Next fry sliced beef(pork). Then put potatoes and onions and Kanjaku noodles in it and fry with beef(pork). After that, give them flavor with soy sauce,dashi,sake sugar and salt. Simmer it for15minutes.
After finish making Nikuzyaga, we will make miso soup. First, boil water. Then put dashi in the water. After while, add miso. Then put diced tofu and seaweed.

Hai! I’m Reiko and live in nishinomiya-city where between Osaka and Kobe. My place is very convenient,, because I can go to those city easily. I used to live in foreign countries for my work, so I also very interested other countries and meeting people.

I have a daughter and a son who are very interested for other countries and cultures too. I cook almost every day for my family and my daughter always help to cook. So if you are with children, I’m sure
you will enjoy with them.

In my cooking class, these are very traditional and casual Japanese food. My place where is famous for cuisine such as Okonomiyaki , Takoyaki and dashimaki(Japanese omelet)…etc.

If you join my cooking class , we can show you sightseeing places,wherever you’d like to visit such as universal studio, Kobe Osaka.,,etc.please let me know beforehand.
