It is very popular type of sushi made in family style.Once you learn how to make it you can arrange freely with your creativity.

Ingredients are very flexible
Basically I offer basic traditional vegetarian one

Ingredients example
Rice(white or brown)
Seaweed

Tamagoyaki (egg,Japanese sake, sugar)
Stewed dried beancard
Cucumber
Cooked carrot
Shiso(Japanese herb)
Stewed dried shiitake mushroom
Sesame seed
Cooked spinach

I can switch to seafood or meat version as request

I can also add miso or clear soup
And quick vegetable pickles
Easy to make Japanese desert etc upon request

    Rice is a staple food in Japan. In all most every family, there is a rice cooker. There is variety of Japanese rice brands such as Koshihikari and Hitomebore.

    Sake

    Japanese popular alcoholic drink must be Sake, or called Nihonshu, made from fermented rice. The foundation of good sake is quality rice, clean water, koji mold and yeast. Premium sake differentiates itself in quality of ingredients and production process, so that flavors ranges light and crisp to richer, fruity notes.

To save your time I usually precook the rice and time consuming ingredients and explain by showing the details.

You will be exited to wrap the sushi by yourself and get idea to show off to your friend or family

You may eat on tatami room in our old Japanese house

I can also teach I how to prepare traditional Japanese matcha tea

I have a mission to keep and activate our 100 years old traditional Japanese house which is located only 2 mins walk from JR station.
I lived in Singapore for 5years and California for 20 years , so I love to talking with people from all around the world.
My passion is cooking and running.
I love traditional Japanese cooking like Osechi and Sushi that I learned from my grandmother.
I think this is the best opportunity to introduce Japanese culture including traditional Japanese house and cooking.
