“Okonomiyaki” is Japanese savory pancake.
Main Ingredients are;
Cabbage
Eggs
Rice flour
Yam potato

②Onigiri(rice balls)
Simple rice dish with so many different kind of toppings such as grilled salmon, dried salted seaweed, pickled plum, anything you like.

③Makizushi
Sishi is not all raw fish!
Seaweed(Nori) roiled with rice and other ingredients such as fresh cucumber, eel and cucumber, Japanese pickles etc.,

④Miso Soup
Fermented soy bean paste soup.
Not only with tofu and seaweed. You can add your favorite ingredients!

Grilled salted salmon

    Okonomiyaki

    Okonomiyaki is a Japanese savory pancake, made with flour, eggs, shredded cabbage, meat and toppings as you like. This variability is reflected in the dish's name: "okonomi" literally means "to one's liking". You can eat it everywhere in Japan, but especially Okonomiyaki made Hiroshima style and Osaka style are the most famous.

    Onigiri is a Japanese comfort food made from steamed rice formed into the typical triangular, ball, or cylinder shapes and usually wrapped with nori(dried seaweed). Stuffed with a a variety of fillings and flavors, these rice balls make an ideal quick snack and are a fun alternative to sandwitches for lunch.

    Miso Soup

    Miso soup is a traditional Japanese soup. It's base is "dashi" (Japanese fish stock) and Miso paste. Common added ingredients are Tofu, Green onion and deep‐fried tofu but differs by personal preference. The type of miso is different from region. In western and Easter Japan white miso is mostly used.

    The astringent constituent in Japanese tea is a type of polyphenol called catechin. Japan has done a great deal with the humble tea leaf. For example some benefits of the catechin in the tea leaf can lower cholesterol in some cases. Roasted over charcoal at a high temperature and grown under shade for at least 20 days are one of the examples. The most popular Japanese tea might be ryokucha. Depending on the timing of picking the leaves, the grade, the price can be noticeably different.

I am mother of two children. I love cooking and would love to introduce Japanese home meals to visitors from overseas.

Currently I’m working as interpreter as part time job.

Addition to the above, I have wheat allergy so I can introduce some “Gluten Free Japanese Food”

As part of my cooking class, I can guide you Kobe’s hideout restaurants and cool sightseeing places.

If you are interested in Japanese cooking and also would like to have some gluten free food, please just come to my kitchen.
