Cooking Class Menu

1. Please choose a main dish and a second dish from these lists below. If you don’t have a time, I’ll prepare some before we meet up. I’ll give you recipes if you like our dishes.

2. Main dish. We can two flavors.
① Japanese pasta, spicy cod roe flavor.
Soy sauce with butter and spicy cod roe.
② Japanese pasta, cod roe with cram flavor.
Bit Soy sauce, butter, fresh cream, milk and cod roe. This is not spicy.
③ Japanese pasta, Neapolitan.
Ketchup flavor with sausage and vegetables. Including carrots, onions and green peppers.
④ Japanese pasta, Soy sauce flavor.
With beacon, spinach and Shimeji mushroom. It same as Rice Omelet.

3. Second dish
① Japanese pudding
Not sweet one. Chicken, Shiitake mushroom, fish cake and herb leaf in.
② Japanese Radish salad
Cut Japanese Radish and make soy sauce flavor dressing.
③ Burdock root, Gobo salad
Boil Burdock root called Gobo and carrot. Mayonnaise and white sesame flavor.
④ Potato salad
Make mashed potatoes. Put cucumber, boiled carrots and onion. Mayonnaise flavor.
⑤ Pumpkin salad.
Similar to potato salad. Pumpkin instead of potato.

    Rice

    Rice is a staple food in Japan. In all most every family, there is a rice cooker. There is variety of Japanese rice brands such as Koshihikari and Hitomebore.

Cooking Class Information

1. Main dish
① Japanese pasta, spicy cod roe flavor.
Make sauce first. Add soy sauce, butter and spicy cod roe in the bowl. Add boiled pasta and mixed well. Put cut black seaweeds and Shiso herb leaves.
② Japanese pasta, cod roe with cram flavor.
Make sauce first. Add bit of soy sauce, butter, fresh cream, milk and cod roe. Mix well. Add boiled pasta and mix. This is not spicy. Creamy!
③ Japanese pasta, Neapolitan.
Cut sausage, carrots, onions and green peppers. Stir fry these ingredients and add ketchup. Finally, put boiled pasta and ready!
④ Japanese pasta, Soy sauce flavor.
Boil the pasta fist. Stir fry beacon, Shimeji mushroom and spinach with soy sauce. Then add pasta. Really!

2. Second dish
① Japanese pudding
Not sweet one. Make a dough first. Put chicken, shiitake mushroom, fish cake in to the small cup. Then pour a dough. Put Mitsuba herb leaf on the top.
② Japanese radish salad
Cut Japanese radish first. Then make Salad dressing. Soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar and sweet rice wine. Put Black Seaweed and bonito flakes.
③ Burdock root, Gobo salad
Boil Burdock root and carrot first. Cut them. Make sesame and mayonnaise dressing. Mixed well. Done!
④ Potato salad
Boil potatoes and carrots first. Mash the potatoes. Cut carrots and cucumbers. Mix with mayonnaise. Done!
⑤ Pumpkin salad
Boil pumpkin first. Mash the pumpkin and cut cucumbers. Then mix with mayonnaise. Ready!

I’m Yuko from Tokyo.
I’d like to speak with foreign tourists. I like to tell you our Japanese culture and learn various foreign cultures.
I’ve been in London when I was a primary school student for a year and I did homestay in England during my university summer holidays.
