・Lunch box for excursion in Japan
Ever since I was a child, my mother has made this bento for school excursions and sports festivals.
The contents change slightly from time to time. Onigiri (often triangular, sometimes with a filling and wrapped in nori), fried chicken (I was happy to have this), omelet, cherry tomatoes, and broccoli.
Let's make it fun and enjoy the picnic feeling together.

・Typical Japanese Breakfast
My mother is from Niigata, a rice-producing region, so rice and miso soup was the standard breakfast.
For side dishes, the family ate grilled fish, natto (fermented soybeans), nori (dried seaweed), and pickles.
This time it was asazuke. It is very easy to make and can be copied right at home.
Have you heard of natto? Natto is so popular among Japanese people that no one knows natto, however, it has some quirks. Now, you too can try natto.
Natto is a health food made from fermented soybeans.

・Traditional Japanese tea ceremony
I am a tea ceremony teacher.
I still practice on Fridays.
The tea ceremony is a way to calm the mind and savor the taste and aroma of matcha tea and the space in which it is served. The secret of the popularity of the tea ceremony is that it is not only about drinking tea, but also about hospitality, the beauty of tea utensils, traditional manners, and many other Japanese elements.
Why don't you try making tea while enjoying delicious Japanese sweets?
If you wish, however, we can dress you in a kimono.

    Tea Ceremony

The Japanese tea ceremony is a centuries-old tradition closely tied to Zen Buddhist principles, and a popular way to experience Japanese culture. There are several variations on this ritual. At its base, powdered green tea (matcha) is prepared and served in accordance with strict rules. Oftentimes, wagashi (Japanese sweets) is served alongside the bitter green tea.
