In this baking class I'll teach you how to make TWO pastries the way my grandma used to make them from scratch:
--> KOLACHES - traditional Slovak breakfast pastry
--> BABKA - sweet braided bread of Jewish origins
WHAT WE'LL DO:
1. We'll start by introducing pastries and mixing the dough & fillings
2. We'll learn how to properly shape & bake pastries in a traditional way
3. We'll finish the class with baking & sampling our delicious
treats
This is a VERY interactive class with YOU being able to bake, learn, and make the most of it. It is a relaxed, super fun yet educational class packed with plenty of fool-proof tips on how to work with yeast-based doughs to always achieve great results. During the class, I will be sharing about our rich culinary heritage & food customs
