Before the cooking lesson, I will explain the basics of lunch boxes.

    The astringent constituent in Japanese tea is a type of polyphenol called catechin. Japan has done a great deal with the humble tea leaf. For example some benefits of the catechin in the tea leaf can lower cholesterol in some cases. Roasted over charcoal at a high temperature and grown under shade for at least 20 days are one of the examples. The most popular Japanese tea might be ryokucha. Depending on the timing of picking the leaves, the grade, the price can be noticeably different.

Cooking Class Information

This cooking class will teach you how to make bento boxes filled with the basics of home cooking.
 High school students and office workers often bring their own bento boxes for lunch.
Fill it with colorful rice and side dishes.
I will explain in detail how you can make a delicious-looking bento.
Make cute onigiri using seaweed, cheese ham, etc.

My name is Kaco. I love eating and cooking. My mother and grandmother are cooking teachers. I am a qualified nurse and cook. I want to use English to convey Japanese home cooking. It was one of my dreams to cook food together with people who came to Okayama for a trip, and have them feel familiar with Japanese home cooking. My specialty is lunch boxes. In this one lesson, I will teach you how to make a main dish, fried eggs, side dishes using vegetables, etc. Let's make cute rice balls too!

My house is near Okayama Castle, the most famous tourist destination in Okayama, and a beautiful park called Korakuen.
