KARAAGE Teishoku
KARAAGE
Japanese Fried chicken!
Very popular dish in my house!
It is made by marinating chicken in soy sauce, garlic, and ginger, then deep frying it until it is crispy. The secret ingredient in my dish is DASHI powder, which adds more flavor and umami. It's delicious as is, or you can add a sweet and sour sauce to taste.
We cook white rice in Le Creuset, which we love and use Tsuyahime rice from Yamagata Prefecture.
Let's cook miso soup together.
Asuka
We are a normal family of four with two children in elementary school. When we were young, we both enjoyed traveling abroad, and we met in Victoria, Canada. I want my children to know more about the world, but it isn’t so easy for us to travel abroad. It would be wonderful if they could directly meet, touch, feel, and experience people from other countries while eating home-cooked meals. I like cooking food that makes me happy if it connects with others, so I make all kinds of typical Japanese home-cooked meals. Please come visit my house.
