In this lesson, you will try miso ramen with lots of vegetables.

Miso is a typical Japanese seasoning, and there are many varieties.
Nagoya has a thriving fermentation culture, and there are many stores that have been producing miso, soy sauce, and mirin for centuries.
Nagoya's miso is called “aka-miso” (red miso), which is darker in color and a little salty in contrast to Kyoto's white miso, but when made into ramen, it is very mild and goes very well with vegetables and noodles.

In this lesson, we will show you the recommended recipe and how to make a flavorful ramen soup.
This lesson is not only about watching the demonstration, but also about practicing it with your guests.

    Ramen is a noodle soup dish and perhaps one of the most popular Japanese dishes. There are many flavours of ramen, such as Shoyu (soy sauce) ramen, Miso ramen, Tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen and so on. Common toppings are Chashu (braised pork), Negi (green onion) and Nori (dried seaweed).

Cooking Class Information

You will make miso ramen using miso, a typical Japanese seasoning. Nagoya is very famous for miso. This time, you will make ramen using Nagoya's miso with plenty of vegetables.

9:30 AM: Meet at the kitchen studio.
9:40 AM: Start of the cooking session with the instructor.
11:30 AM: Enjoy the dishes you created.
12:00 PM: End of experience.

17:30 PM: Meet at the kitchen studio.
17:40 PM: Start of the cooking session with the instructor.
18:30 PM: Enjoy the dishes you created.
19:00 PM: End of experience.
