Cooking Class Menu

Omurice
- A Western-influenced Japanese dish combining an omelette with fried rice, often topped with ketchup.

Hambāgu
- Unlike American hamburgers, Hambāgu is a thick, juicy patty of ground meat served without a bun. It’s often topped with a savory sauce and served with rice or vegetables.

Oyakodon
- A comforting donburi (rice bowl) dish literally meaning “parent and child bowl,” since it includes both chicken and egg. Chicken is simmered in a sweet-savory broth with onions, then gently cooked with egg and served over steamed rice.

Temaki-zushi
- “Hand-rolled sushi.” Temaki-zushi is a casual and fun sushi style where you roll your own cone-shaped nori (seaweed) wraps filled with sushi rice and various toppings like fish, vegetables, or eggs.

Cooking Class Information

I'd like to go shopping together at a local supermarket so guests can experience how ingredients are bought in Japan, get a sense of the prices, and learn a bit about Japanese food culture. Once we return home, I'll start by giving a simple demonstration, but the actual cooking will be centered around the guest, with me offering advice and support as needed. I hope we can enjoy both the cooking and some fun conversation along the way!
