Cooking Class Menu

Nerikiri is one of Japanese traditional sweets, made by wrapping smooth red or white bean paste in a dough made from white bean paste, rice flour, and sugar, and then carving it into beautiful shapes using tools such as triangular sticks. There are various shapes and colors of sweets depending on the season.

    Rice is a staple food in Japan. In all most every family, there is a rice cooker. There is variety of Japanese rice brands such as Koshihikari and Hitomebore.

Cooking Class Information

In this cooking class, you will first wrap smooth red or white bean paste with nerikiri dough that we have prepared in advance. After that, you will use tools such as the triangular stick to decorate and create beautiful designs. You will make two types of nerikiri.
Once they are finished, you will whisk your own bowl of matcha and enjoy it together with the sweets.
