After cooking, we enjoy Japanese tea and traditional sweets while relaxing and chatting.
In this class, you will experience warm, everyday Japanese home cooking in a beautiful café in Okurayama, Yokohama.

I am a mother of three, and I cook these dishes for my family every day.
My goal is to share simple Japanese home-style recipes that you can easily recreate when you return home.

Hello! My name is Yasuko.
I live in Okurayama, Yokohama. It's a quiet, beautiful area with wonderful spots like the Okurayama Memorial Museum and Shioka Kumano Shrine.
It's easily accessible from Yokohama Station and Shin-Yokohama Station, so you can enjoy sightseeing in Yokohama Chinatown and Minato Mirai before or after your lessons.
I love cooking Japanese home-cooked meals and sharing everyday life in Japan with my guests.
I'm not very confident with my English, so I can be a little nervous at times. But I really enjoy meeting people from other countries.
I hope to be able to communicate warmly with you using simple English and a smile.
During our lessons, we'll make rice balls together and demonstrate how to make miso soup and rolled omelets, two popular drinks in Japan. After class, we'll enjoy chatting over tea and Japanese sweets.
I'm a mother of three. I live with my family and two cats.
I hope you enjoy not only Japanese food, but also Japan's warm, cozy atmosphere.
