・Make Firm Tofu:
We will make tofu from soybeans using high-quality Japanese soybeans selected by certified tofu master instructor Ayu. Tofu is an essential ingredient in Japanese households, yet even among Japanese people, most people have never made it themselves. While simple ingredients make it a delicate food, like a living thing, with subtle changes in taste depending on temperature and timing. We hope you will share a moment of enjoyment with all five senses. While there are several types of tofu, this class will introduce you to firm tofu made using a special tofu mold and cloth.

AYUMI
My name is Ayu and I work in the food industry, based in Tokyo. Ever since I was little, I've been interested in food and food from around the world. I first encountered tofu about 10 years ago. Attracted by its profound charm, I've been working to spread the word about tofu to a wide range of people, interacting with tofu makers, holding tofu classes, and introducing tofu recipes. Spending time enjoying it with all five senses makes everyday life a little more special. I hope that through this experience, you can experience soybeans, tofu making, and traditional Japanese food culture.
