• Onigiri
Onigiri is a Japanese rice ball.
It is usually filled with ingredients like salmon or tuna and wrapped in seaweed.
• Miso soup
We have miso soup almost every day in Japan.
It is one of the most representative Japanese dishes.
We feel calm and relaxed when we eat it.
• Tamagoyaki
Tamagoyaki is a Japanese rolled omelet.
It is slightly sweet and very soft.
These three dishes are typical Japanese breakfast foods.
In this cooking class, we will make a representative Japanese breakfast together, including onigiri, miso soup, and tamagoyaki.
Onigiri
You can make two types of onigiri with umeboshi (pickled plum) and salmon flakes.
If you would like to change the ingredients, please let me know in advance.
Miso Soup
You will learn how to make dashi using dried seaweed (kombu) and dried bonito flakes (katsuobushi).
Tamagoyaki
You will learn how to make Kanto-style tamagoyaki, which has a slightly sweet flavor.
The Kanto region is the area around Tokyo.
The taste of tamagoyaki varies depending on the region and even from household to household.
