Cooking Class Information

In this cooking class, we will make onigiri (rice balls), miso soup, and tamagoyaki (rolled omelet), which are commonly eaten by Japanese people. For the onigiri, we will cook the rice using a small, individual-sized rice cooker and then make the onigiri. For the miso soup, we will shave bonito flakes to make the broth. The ingredients for the miso soup will be wakame seaweed, onions, tofu, and fried tofu. We will finish it off with homemade miso. For the tamagoyaki, we will use fresh eggs. The seasonings will be salted rice malt and brown sugar. We will use a frying pan specifically for tamagoyaki. I don't speak English, but I would be happy if we could have a fun conversation using translation apps and gestures.
