Of the many attractions that Nagoya has to offer, one of the most important would be the Nagoya castle.
Located in the older part of the city, the Nagoya castle stands as an imposing structure from another era.
The castle is an icon in the city, and was built over 400 years ago. The modern structure is a reconstruction of the original, as the original burnt down in 1945. In addition to this, two of the castle’s keeps were reconstructed in 1959.
The castle also boasts of a vast garden, popular for strolls, rest and relaxation.

The building itself is rather futuristic in design, boasting of a large spherical and glassy construction.

Situated near the center of Nagoya, is an ancient garden that has retained its charm over the years.
The garden was originally the property of the Owari Tokugawa family, a major aristocratic family that lived here, who used it as their private residence. Spread across 44 hectares of land, the garden has been designed in the traditional Daimyo style, typical of many historical layouts and structures.

The Toyota commemorative museum of industry and technology, often called the Toyota museum, is an interesting automobile museum in Nagoya.
Located very near to the science museum mentioned above, this is a great place to learn about the historical progress that has taken place over the years in general and by Toyota in particular.
The museum happens to be run by Toyota, and is dedicated to its history, industrial processes as well as new age ventures such as robotics and modern manufacturing styles.
