【Miso soup】
We have miso soup almost every day.
Ingredients include tofu, seaweed, onion and miso.
※You can choose what to put in Miso soup.
※We have red-miso and white-miso. You can chose whichever you prefer.
In this cooking class, we can cook Japanese gyoza (Japanese dumplings) together!
Gyoza is one of the most popular Japanese dishes. It’s different from Chinese style dumplings, because they are pan-fried, instead of steamed.
We will start by first cutting the vegetables or ingredients to put in the soup.
Then we prepare soup stock from bonito or dried sardines.
Next, we put the ingredients in the soup stock.
Finally we put miso in the pot!
You can learn what "Dashi" is and learn about the types of miso.
We will also make a type of Japanese soul food, "Onigiri (Rice ball)". You can choose what to put it in. We will prepare some ingredients before you coming!
