[Greeting]
Hello! My name is Kyoko.
At our cooking class, I offer lessons where we cook Japanese dishes together with people from around the world. Through delicious food, we create opportunities for international exchange.

[My Story]
From a young age, I have loved both cooking and English. I enjoyed watching my mother cook in the kitchen, and I gradually learned to cook by mimicking her.
My interest in English began when I joined my elementary school’s English club and was captivated by the sounds of the Mother Goose rhymes.

In 2015, we hosted our first international student from abroad. To welcome her, I prepared some homemade dishes . She was so delighted by the meal.
This experience made me realize how different food habits and culinary cultures can be across countries, and I found it fascinating.
This led me to want to interact more with people from other countries, so I began studying English on my own.

This inspired me to start a cooking class for foreigners.

I hope you will enjoy our lessons.

The ramen cooking experience that we had with Kyoko was really amazing. She thought us the step by step procedure on how to make it from scratch. From noodle making to ramen sauce. She guided us well that made us remember how to make healthy shoyu ramen( soy sauce ramen). The way she teach is very easy to remember and understand. Cooking ramen was not only learned in the session but also its history. She is very bubbly that you can't feel she's your teacher. She is also very friendly. Very recommendable chef. Would love to take her lesson again and bring my family and friends.

It was a delight to be a part of Kyoko san’s cooking class. She was very welcoming, positive, and knowledgeable. I find cooking that can be intimidating, especially with a dish that requires a lot of steps, like ramen. But her hands-on guidance makes it fun and straightforward. Every ingredient was thoughtfully prepared ahead of time, too, allowing the class to run smoothly. She was also always happy to answer any questions I may have had throughout the process. She even incorporated some historical facts about the dish we were making, so I walked away with new cultural knowledge myself! I would love to join her class again sometime. Thank you for your kindness, Kyoko san!
