Cooking Class Information

Our class is located in the heart of Tokyo, at our home kitchen in a quiet residential area 10 minutes walk from Shinagawa station. We will meet you at 11:00am in front of the ticket office right outside the Central gate and will head to our home kitchen together.

Upon arrival, matcha latte will be served as a welcome drink in a Japanese tea ceremony style and we will introduce each other. Then we will make together Japanese curry from scratch with deep fried crispy and juicy pork (or chicken) cutlet, known as Tonkatsu. With the same cutlet, we will make Katsu Sando (cutlet sandwich) and Tamago Sando (Japanese egg sandwich), both the most loved sandwich in Japan. In addition to this menu, we will be serving homemade dessert. All our dishes will be arranged in a traditional Japanese setting with antique and artist's tableware.

Our menus use ingredients that can be found in a nearby supermarket so it will be easy for you to try them back home. All recipes will be given as souvenirs.

Our class is in English and last for about three hours. Aprons will be provided so please come empty-handed. While enjoying our dishes, we would love to talk not only about the menu but the places we recommend you to visit in Tokyo. We would be happy to help you make your trip memorable!

★Our class is from 11:30 to 14:30 (meet at Shinagawa station 11:00).
★Please reserve with a minimum of 2 people.
