Step into the elegance of Japanese tradition with our Kimono Tea Ceremony, a unique experience that blends intellectual learning with cultural immersion. Participants will wear a beautifully crafted kimono and enter the tranquil world of the Omotesenke tea ceremony, gaining a deeper understanding of its history and significance.
This experience goes beyond just practice—we provide a rich intellectual journey through the history of the tea ceremony and its connection to Japanese culture. Using engaging slides, we explain key topics such as the evolution of tea culture, the role of tea masters, and the philosophy behind the practice.
Following this insightful session, guests will partake in the tea ceremony as honored participants, learning proper etiquette while savoring two servings of thin tea (usucha) and traditional Japanese sweets (wagashi).
No prior experience with kimono or tea ceremony is required. Whether you are a first-time visitor or a cultural enthusiast, this experience offers a rare opportunity to both wear and understand the essence of Japanese tea culture in an authentic and meaningful way.
