Seasonal Ume Syrup & Umeshu Making (Limited: May–July)
Discover the refreshing and healthful world of Japanese fermentation with this seasonal ume (Japanese plum) workshop!

In this hands-on experience, you’ll make your own original ume syrup using hand-picked plums, raw honey, and your choice of spices and herbs such as cinnamon, star anise, or rosemary.

You’ll also learn how to craft traditional umeshu (plum liqueur) using high-quality sake.

A short lecture will introduce you to the history of Japanese fermentation culture and the health benefits of ume.

You’ll enjoy a syrup tasting session, and if you can carry it, your handmade syrup is yours to take home!

Cooking is my passion — especially **Washoku**, traditional Japanese cuisine.
I’ve been learning Japanese cooking for over 10 years, and I’d love to share this delicious culture with you.

You can even request what you’d like to cook together — let’s make something fun and seasonal!

I’m originally from **Hiroshima**, and have also lived in **Tokyo** and **Osaka**.
By day, I work at a bank — but on weekends, I enjoy teaching cooking in a relaxed and friendly setting.
