In this hands-on Hanoi cooking class, you’ll explore the flavors of northern Vietnamese cuisine from market to table. We begin with a short welcome and an introduction to the ingredients that make our dishes special.
You can choose Menu A or Menu B when booking. Whichever menu you select, you will learn essential Vietnamese techniques such as balancing sweet–sour–salty flavors, preparing fresh herbs, and making traditional dipping sauces.
Together we will chop vegetables, marinate meats, and practice wrapping or rolling, just like local home cooks. While cooking, I’ll share stories about the cultural importance of each dish—why Hanoi’s crispy Nem rán is served at family celebrations, how Chả cá Lã Vọng dates back over a century, or why Bún chả became a street-food icon.
After everything is ready, we’ll sit down to enjoy the meal you created, served with local herbs and dipping sauces, and finish with a Vietnamese tea toast. It’s a warm, interactive experience that connects food, culture, and conversation.
