Discover the art of Japanese tempura in this private, hands-on cooking experience.
Learn how to create light, crispy tempura using fresh ingredients such as shrimp, fish, chicken, and seasonal vegetables. Guided step by step, you’ll master the key techniques — from batter to frying — including the secret of perfect oil temperature.
We’ll cook together, then enjoy your freshly made tempura with rice, dipping sauce, and finish with a classic tendon.

Prep ingredients, control oil temperature, coat in batter, and fry to light, crispy perfection.
Long sleeves, tongs, and disposable gloves provided—cook with confidence, even if it’s your first time!
Shrimp, fish, chicken, seasonal veggies (shiitake, sweet potato, eggplant) and more. Learn simple tricks for golden, crunchy tempura.
After cooking, we’ll sit down and enjoy the freshly fried tempura with steamed white rice, dipping sauce, and just a touch of salt. And there’s more! You’ll also get to try Tendon—a traditional rice bowl topped with crispy tempura and finished with a sweet-savory sauce. It’s one of the most comforting and satisfying ways to enjoy tempura in Japan.
