The 50-minute train ride from Nagoya Station to Jōsui Station — first underground, then above ground with peaceful views of rivers, rice fields, and local neighborhoods that show everyday Japanese life.
Hi! I’m Michiyo, born and raised in Nagoya — a city famous for its unique and delicious food. I studied food and nutrition in Japan, and travel and tourism in the U.S. After many years working as a tour guide across Japan and around the world, I realized food is the best way to connect people. Since 2008, I’ve been teaching cooking and bread-making to Japanese students. Now, I live in Toyota City with my family and run a cozy cooking class. I love cooking, traveling, and meeting new people from around the world. I look forward to welcoming you to my kitchen for a warm, fun, and tasty experience!
