Kasane-ni is a simple method where vegetables are stacked in a specific order and cooked with a small amount of water.

As they simmer, the air and moisture circulate naturally, bringing out the vegetables' sweetness and creating a deep, harmonious flavor.

Cooking Class Information

I first pick you up at JR Kusatsu station.

Then we visit a local market and explore local seasonal food together, snacking on something you are interested in (included in the price)

Then we go back to my home, meet our Golden Retriever, Sun, and cook together.

You can enjoy a homemade lunch and relax with Sun in a real Japanese home.
