Inaka sushi is one of the traditional food in Kochi prefecture. ”Inaka" means countryside in Japan. It is the sushi which is not made with any fish but various vegetable. For example, we use shiitake mushrooms, “myoga” (Japanese ginger), “konnyaku” (Devil’s tongue), bamboo shoots, and other ingredients. We flavor the sushi rice with rice vinegar. Since it contains no fish, Inaka sushi is vegetarian food. Also, this sushi is Halal.
In this class, you can make sushi venegar from scratch and also make 3 or 4 types of sushi by yourself.
This class takes place in our kitchen and dining room so you can relax and enjoy cooking with homelike atmosphere.
