・Okonomiyaki
・Mugi Tea(Free)
《Optional drink》
We have a variety of alcoholic drinks and Japanese tea, Herb tea, Flavor tea and Coffee.
Okonomiyaki is a traditional main food from the Kansai region where I was born and raised.
Okonomiyaki is like a Japanese pizza that is baked with flour, eggs, cabbage with soup stock, and pork, seafood, cheese and salmon.
Of course, the ingredients can be changed to your favorite ingredients such as bacon and corn instead of pork, or you can add them with toppings
If you are a vegetarian, you can make it only with vegetables.
Would you like to learn recipes while making fun together with Okonomiyaki, my sole food that I have been familiar with since childhood?
Okonomiyaki can be made with a frying pan, but it can also be made with a hot plate.
This time we will make okonomiyaki with a hot plate on the table
Okonomiyaki is a fun way to make together with your family, friends and lover.
Let's make your own delicious okonomiyaki with your loved ones
Okonomiyaki is a dish of thinly sliced cabbage mixed with batter made of flour, eggs and water and cooked on an iron griddle.
I use a lot of yam for my okonomiyaki. Therefore, the fabric is very fluffy
。
Green onion and deep-fried tempura batter can also be mixed with the okonomiyaki batter.
You can choose any ingredients or toppings that you like.
Okonomiyaki is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.
Please eat the okonomiyaki with sauce, mayonnaise, green nori and bonito flakes.
Bonito flakes are a Japanese seasoning ingredient that is quite flavorful. They are prepared by first drying bonito fish.

★★★★★Bell's okonomiyaki class was a highlight of our trip to Japan! Even no Japanese, Bell's clear instructions and genuine warmth made the experience seamless. Her passion for food was contagious, and we learned so much about different variations and cooking techniques. I especially loved mastering the perfect flip! Bell's hospitality extended beyond the kitchen - picking us up and dropping us off at the station and welcoming us into her home made us feel like true guests. My daughter is already talking about making okonomiyaki for her friends back in Australia, thanks to Bell's inspiring class. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Japan, whether you're a seasoned cook or a complete beginner. It's more than just a cooking class; it's a cultural immersion and a chance to connect with a warm and welcoming host.

★★★★★We enjoyed the Okonomiyaki course with Bell so much! It was so much fun and the Okonomiyaki was delicious! Bell is a great host, she explained everything so well and we are confident that we can recreate the Okonomiyaki by our own now! We had nice conversations as well, Bell is a talented woman who is doing handcrafts as well and my girlfriend bought a beautiful hairband. It was just an amazing experience and if we wouldn’t have to leave Kyoto this day, we would have definitely done another cooking course with Bell! Thank you so much!

Thank you for coming to my cooking class. I had a lot of fun cooking with you too. Try making your own vegetable okonomiyaki by changing the various ingredients.
Please try okonomiyaki from each region of Japan.
And thank you for teaching me about German home cooking and traditional cooking. I will try making the “Knödel”that you teach me about.
Thank you very much.

★★★★★My partner and I loved our okonomiyaki cooking class with Bell. She was a wonderful host, picking us up from the nearby train station and inviting us into our home. The class was a great experience. She taught us how to make okonomiyaki step by step -- flour and water were already measured out for us, but we did some of the other prep ourselves (the parts that we will need to know so we can make it ourselves in the future). The finished result was delicious, and we also treated ourselves to some of Bell's homemade plum wine, which was fantastic. Overall we would highly recommend her class, and on any return trip to Kyoto plan to take another of her classes. Thanks Bell!

Thank you very much for coming to my cooking class. It was fun to be able to make okonomiyaki with the you two of them. I wish you could have measured the flour and water as well. I am sorry. The portion size is written in the recipe, so please refer to it.
If you can't get yam in your country, try making it with a little more flour and eggs than the amount written in the recipe. Try various things and enjoy your own okonomiyaki recipe. When you come back to Kyoto, please take another cooking class. I will do my best to help you. Thank you very much.
