Gyoza is a Japanese dumpling made by wrapping meat, cabbage, leek, etc. in a skin made of thin flour.
We use homemade flour skin.
・Norimaki sushi
Norimaki is vinegared rice rolled in a sheet of laver with vegetables, dried gourd or egg in the center. It is served cut into bite-size pieces.

In this cooking class, We can cook Japanese Gyoza ( Japanese dumpling) or Norimaki together!
Gyoza is one of the most popular Japanese dishes. It's different from Chinese style dumplings, because they are pan-fried, instead of steamed.
①We will start by first preparing the gyoza wrappers from dough.
②Cut the vegetables and meat and wrap those ingredients with the gyoza wappers.
③Finally we fry them with a big pan!
You can learn how to wrap ingredients with the wrappers and form the gyoza properly.
Norimaki sushi is a traditional Japanese dishes. We eat Norimaki normally and special occasion also.
①We will start by first preparing the Nori
and ingredients like vinegared rice, egg, cucumber, shiitake mushroom, dried gourd shavings.
②Use a bamboo rolling mat and put seaweed sheet on the mat.
③over the rice on the seaweed sheet and press ingredients.
④Rolling the edge of the bamboo mat and keeping the tight with every move until you reach the end of the seaweed sheet.
⑤Pull away the mat and cut roll into bite size pieces.
