Let's try chanoyu (tea ceremony) and washoku in my tea house.
I'll show you how to make dashi (basic broth of traditional japanese dishes) to cook some washoku dishes.
After having washoku lunch, you can enjoy tea ceremony in my tea house which has traditional style.

    The Japanese tea ceremony is a centuries-old tradition closely tied to Zen Buddhist principles, and a popular way to experience Japanese culture. There are several variations on this ritual. At its base, powdered green tea (matcha) is prepared and served in accordance with strict rules. Oftentimes, wagashi (Japanese sweets) is served alongside the bitter green tea.

Cooking Class Information

In this classroom,you can enjoy tea ceremony and Japanese lunch in a full-fledged tea room.
At first, you make 'dashi'(basic broth of japanese dishes) for a cup of white miso soup of lunch. I'll prepare a ready-made lunch box and sweets. You'll take them, then enjoy tea ceremony.
