Hi, I am Sol Peñafiel, founder and director of Cooking Languages, where I have implemented mu approach to active language learning through cooking. While travelling through the richness of Mediterranean cuisines, students explore and discover the Spanish language and culture. Recipes, instructions, books or videos used are in Spanish, so students learn to read and understand recipes, give their opinion and make suggestions in Spanish!
Sol runs courses and workshops, pre-lunch or evening; tailoring programmes for families or groups of friends; or gathering groups, offering an opportunity to socialize in the new city. Classes are addressed to adults, teenagers and children; in Barcelona, Sant Cugat and surrounding areas.
