Cooking Class Menu

*YAKITORI (Charcoal grilled)

Yakitori is barbecued chicken but we will make them with charcoal. This is the best to eat Yakitori.
In this class, we cut the chicken, skewered it, and seasoned it with sweetened soy sauce. We make our own sweetened sauce and dip in the sauce and grill over charcoal.
Of course, salted Yakitori is also yummy!

*AMA-ZAKE

We will make AMA-ZAKE together.
This is Japanese sake lees called Sake-kasu. Sake-kasu contains fermented rice and a certain amount of alcohol that is leftover from the process of making the sake.
For this reason, Amazake made with Sake-kasu had a little bit of alcohol. If the Amazake is boiled enough, it contains less than 1% of alcohol.
You won't feel alcohol.

Japanese popular alcoholic drink must be Sake, or called Nihonshu, made from fermented rice. The foundation of good sake is quality rice, clean water, koji mold and yeast. Premium sake differentiates itself in quality of ingredients and production process, so that flavors ranges light and crisp to richer, fruity notes.
