Join Terumi to learn how to cook small dishes for bento and prepare Dashi stock in quick & easy way. We usually make a bento for lunch in early morning, so this might be said ‘Japanese cooking with Mom’s wisdoms’.
In order to make a bento at your back home, we’ll use a normal round fry pan instead of a square pan for the rolled omelette dish.

★★★★★I enjoyed a few wonderful hours with Terumi san. She is a caring and intelligent instructor who made me feel comfortable. She has an abundance of knowledge on Japanese food, sweets and the tea ceremony. Not only does she have the technical skill to help you make delicious food, but she also deeply understands the philosophy of wa shoku. Terumi picked me up from the station (I accidentally went to the wrong one!) Terumi also went the extra mile in preparing an addition of food for our lunch, which we shared with her wonderful Aunt. I was so full! There was a genuine feeling of love and gratitude at the table. I now feel confident in making soy milk with a trustworthy recipe and method. And from this, delicious yuba and tofu can easily be prepared. Terumi had all the photos of our day uploaded really quickly in a shared folder. She even took me out to a local shop so I could buy a souvenir of our day. What a wonderful experience; I can't wait to do it again!
