  • Inari Sushi

    Inari Sushi

Inarizushi is stuffed in seasoned Aburaage tofu pouch. Inarizushi is technically sushi, but it is not something you order at nice sushi restaurants. It is easily found at supermarket delis, but, as you know, home made is the best. Inarisushi is a very casual food and a perfect lunch for picnics because it’s best eaten right from your hands.

  • Miso Soup

    Miso Soup

Miso soup is a traditional Japanese soup. It's base is "dashi" (Japanese fish stock) and Miso paste. Common added ingredients are Tofu, Green onion and deep‐fried tofu but differs by personal preference. The type of miso is different from region. In western and Easter Japan white miso is mostly used.

Cooking Class Information

*Doughnut Sushi
The Art of Eating!! You can make doughnut shaped sushi, freely top your favorite ingredients such as colorful sashimi, salmon roe and baked egg.

*Inari Sushi
It is stuffed vinegared rice in fried tofu. It is very famous Japanese sushi as well.
We season the fried tofu and put rice in it.

*Spinach seasoned with sesame sauce
This is very traditional Japanese side dish made by blanching spinach and mixing it with a flavorful sesame-based dressing.

*Miso Soup
I serve you a cup of seasonal vegetable miso soup with "Hatcho Miso". There are so many kinds of miso in Japan, but I use Hatcho Miso, the dark brown miso made in near my house.

*Cut-out Mizu-Yokan"
Let's make an azuki red bean jelly! We'll use the mold of your choice to press into the Mizuyokan. Must be an easy and cute dessert.
