Cooking Class Menu

I would love to introduce some traditional Japanese home-style dishes that I have been cooking for my family for many years.

◆Nori-maki
is a type of sushi commonly made at home in Japan.
It is one of my favorite dishes, and I often prepare it for my children and grandchildren for dinner.
◆Inari-zushi
is another popular home-style sushi.
It is simple, gentle in flavor, and a classic dish often enjoyed in picnic lunch boxes.
◆Gyoza
are Japanese dumplings filled with meat, chopped vegetables, or sometimes seafood.
They are wrapped in thin skins and pan-fried until crispy, making them a family favorite.
◆Miso soup
is an essential part of Japanese meals.
Made with miso paste, it can be enjoyed with many different ingredients, such as seaweed and tofu, depending on the season.

Through cooking together, I hope to share not only Japanese food, but also the warmth of everyday family life in Japan.

  • Gyoza

    Gyoza

Gyoza is a dumpling using wrapping thing dough to hold the inner ingredients. Most commonly, minced pork, cabbage, Garlic and Leek. The origin of Gyoza is from China but it has evolved uniquely in Japan and now quite different from the Chinese one.

  • Miso Soup

    Miso Soup

Miso soup is a traditional Japanese soup. It's base is "dashi" (Japanese fish stock) and Miso paste. Common added ingredients are Tofu, Green onion and deep‐fried tofu but differs by personal preference. The type of miso is different from region. In western and Easter Japan white miso is mostly used.
