・Tamagoyaki (Japanese omelet)
This is also a classic bento menu. Each household has their own taste. A side dish that is loved by children and adults alike.

・Onigiri (rice ball)
Cook delicious rice and make your own special "onigiri". Put your favorite ingredients in it and wrap it in seaweed.
Let's bite into it with your big mouth!

    Onigiri is a Japanese comfort food made from steamed rice formed into the typical triangular, ball, or cylinder shapes and usually wrapped with nori(dried seaweed). Stuffed with a a variety of fillings and flavors, these rice balls make an ideal quick snack and are a fun alternative to sandwitches for lunch.

    Karaage

    Japanese fried chicken, karaage is made by marinating bite-size pieces of chicken in sake, soy sauce, ginger and garlic before coating them generously with potato starch. When fried, the starch turns into an ultra crispy shell encasing a flavorful juicy bite of chicken. Absolutely great with beer.

    Rice is a staple food in Japan. In all most every family, there is a rice cooker. There is variety of Japanese rice brands such as Koshihikari and Hitomebore.

Cooking Class Information

In this cooking class, you will make a classic and popular Japanese Bento Box. It will be packed in a traditional Japanese bento box called wappa. It is delicious even when cold, and the smell of wood will increase your appetite.

You will make karaage (Japanese fried chicken), tamagoyaki (Japanese omelette), and onigiri (rice balls). None of these require special ingredients, so you will be able to make them when you return to your country.
As a side dish, I will prepare a side dish using seasonal vegetables. You are free to pack the bento in any way you like. Let's cook a special bento box just for you!
