3- Kodai-Ji Temple

In the Higashiyama district of Kiyoto, there is a famous temple named Kodai-Ji. This place possesses a magical feel in itself. However; a special event takes place on the temple from 1st to 18th August in the dark time, which amazes the visitors. The whole area lights up in the dark, and it feels something like out of the world.

4- Pottery Festival

A lot of historical buildings and places of Kyoto city are known for organizing a special event. In Kyoto, Gojo-zaka leads to Kiyomizu-Dera temple. This temple is very famous among tourists and the Kyoto citizens for Pottery. From 07 to 10th August, there will be a festival to describe the importance of Pottery. If you are planning to visit Kyoto city and are interested in pottery, you should visit this festival. Please note that you shouldn’t try to purchase anything from any suspicious merchants as you won’t be able to recognize the fake and original.
