Explore the Festival
Meiji Jingu is a spot in central Tokyo which is very famous in the country for viewing the autumn leaves. The area has nearly 150 Ginkgo trees in 2 lines on an area of 300m. The whole environment is fantastic, and you can enjoy the view at any time during the year. However; the best scenery in this area is for two weeks in November.
In November, Meiji Jingu Gaien Ginkgo festival is held in the area. The location is host to the festival from 15th November to 1st December.

If you visit the area for the first time during November, you will have a fantastic feeling. The ginkgo trees are one of the most beautiful trees that you can see in Japan, and the whole avenue feels naturally attractive.
You can take a slow walk on the avenue as you enjoy the natural environment and then can relax under a Ginkgo tree. When the area arranges the festival, you can enjoy traditional Japanese food from more than 40 food stalls. The best thing about these food stalls is that they have traditional and local food items. The festival is the best way to learn about Japanese culture, and you can be closer to nature as well.
