Kyushu basho is one of the biggest tournaments of Sumo wrestling in Japan. It is in the six biggest Japanese tournaments. If you are visiting Fukuoka during 2019, 

you can view the last tournament of the year in November in Fukuoka Convention centre. 

The surrounding areas, streets and shopping centres represent a cultural festival during the tournament. The citizens of the city enjoy the competition, and the sumo wrestlers also make Public appearances. It is straightforward to familiarize yourself with the game. The tournament lasts for 15 days.
