Hello everyone! I’m Satomi, your baking instructor in this Bread Baking Class!
For the past four years, I have taught more than 200 online bread-making lessons to students in Japan and around the world. Through these lessons, I realized that bread-making changes depending on tools, ingredients, and the environment—such as humidity and temperature.

For example, different stand mixer brands knead the dough in different ways, so the kneading time is not always the same. A warm, humid seaside location needs a different method than a cold, dry mountain area for adjusting hydration and fermentation time.

The most important skill for baking great bread anywhere is that you need to "see" the dough. It may seem difficult at first, but once you understand how the dough should look and feel, you can bake the perfect loaf every time.

I will also share special bread-making tips that you won’t find on social media!

Would you like to learn how to bake Shokupan (a milk bread) in Japan, where this delicious bread was born? Join me and discover the secrets to perfect bread!

Satomi is so nice and knowledgeable! My husband and I wanted to learn the techniques of bread making so we had lots of questions. Since bread making depends highly on the room temperature, humidity and the different types of flour and yeast, we got lots of good knowledge from Satomi. She’s patient and passionate about baking. I highly recommend this course!
