・Shokupan (Soft white bread)
・Melonpan (Melon-shaped bun with a crispy top)
・Anpan (Bun with red bean paste)
・Yaki Currypan (Baked Bun with curry)
You’ll start by mixing the ingredients using a standing mixer and learning more about the process from a baker with over 15 years of experience. Discover what makes Japanese bread unique as you shape it and put it in the oven. Once ready, you can enjoy your steamy, fresh breads and keep the recipe so you can make them again anytime. The class will take 2.5hours to 3hours.
We will meet at the Minamidai Library which is just 15 mins away from Shinjuku Station West Exit by taking a taxi or a bus. Please make sure to arrive by 9:45am to ensure a smooth start.
After everyone has arrived, we will move to my apartment. We will begin with a short introduction about the class and the day’s bread-making plan.
The instructor will explain the recipe step-by-step, including details about the ingredients and tools. Feel free to ask any questions at this time.
You will start making the dough by mixing the ingredients and kneading the dough. The instructor will guide you and provide tips for achieving the perfect texture.
After baking, the bread needs to cool slightly. Once ready, we will take some time to enjoy the freshly baked bread. You are welcome to ask questions or take notes for your own practice at home.

★★★★★Satomi is so nice and knowledgeable! My husband and I wanted to learn the techniques of bread making so we had lots of questions. Since bread making depends highly on the room temperature, humidity and the different types of flour and yeast, we got lots of good knowledge from Satomi. She’s patient and passionate about baking. I highly recommend this course!
