In his masterwork Oku no Hosomichi, or The Narrow Road to the Deep North, he walked through Soka on the Nikko Kaido highway
My kitchen is High-tech one in a renovated typical old Japanese house and located in the precinct of a Shrine on that street.

About Host

I am specialized in Japanese Cooking Classes for international visitors. I have experienced to teach them various Japanese dishes in Japan and foreign countries.
In my twenties and thirties, I lived in Italy. During those years I was invited by many Italian friends to their homes and enjoyed many delicious homemade meals. I have enormous experience holding home parties.
