Introduction
"Hello I’m Ikuyo Kono
“About my place” It takes about 30mins from”Shibuya” & center of “Yokohama”. It’s not so far from center of Tokyo and train access is convenient. Also my place is so calm & quiet ,not like center of Tokyo, so you can relax here. (Our place is near “Ramen Museum” in Yokohama.
,it takes about 15 minutes by subway.) “About me”
I’m from Nara prefecture.
I have been learning Japanese tea ceremony for more than 40 years.
I started to teach tea ceremony since 2007.
My grandmother & my mother are also teachers.
I learned tea ceremony in Kyoto & Nara for 10 years.
Kyoto is the first place of Japanese tea ceremony, so I have many good experiences in Kyoto & Nara.

I lived in Boston since 2004 to 2006 with my family.
I showed the tea ceremony to American people in Boston.
After I came back to Japan, I’ve always wanted to have international communication with foreign people though the Japanese culture. I hope you can get some valuable experience here. I have 2 little dogs, but they stay in their space., so they can’t come to us.
I also have regular lessons for foreign residents. After trial tea ceremony,if you are interested in that, please let me know.

I like making Japanese sweets & wearing kimono.

I also have “Making Japanese sweets”
class & “Combination classes”.
In my class, you can learn about many Japanese cultures!! I’m looking forward to having guests.

If you have any requests about the starting time, feel free to ask me. My times are flexible sometimes. I’m looking forward to seeing you!!

P.S.
I’m from Nara prefecture, there is a really huge Buddha inside in a Toudaiji temple in Nara.
When you visit Nara I recommend you to see huge Buddha and see deers. "
