In this museum, you can find the artistic masterpieces of Katsushika Hokusai. Hokusai is a well-known artist in Japan. Few of the famous artwork pieces of the Hokusai are Red Fuji, The Great Wave off Kanagawa and prints collection of mount fuji. 

Ever since its opening in November 2016, the museum saw a lot of popularity. This museum is now a must-visit attraction in the city. An interesting point about the museum is that it is at the birth spot of Mr Hokusai. 

The Sumida Hokusai Museum is a big building. There are different floors in the museum building. Each floor describes the artwork of Mr Hokusai differently. If you visit the fourth floor, you will find a permanent art gallery. This gallery is relatively in a smaller room. However; the information and artwork here in the gallery are amazing. You will find a high-quality duplicate of Hokusai’s work. Further; there are videos, panels in a different language, and written information in multiple languages. All of these details and collection describe the life and work of Hokusai in the best way possible. 

On the third and fourth floor, there is hugs space where the management organizes temporary exhibitions regularly. You will need to pay a specific amount to view the work in temporary exhibitions.
